Information wanted on Spanish working laws

I have an " indefinado " contract and I work an 8 hour day, we have a new boss just took over and has told me that we are not entitled to a break at all throughout the day, and she expects us to work 6 days a week.
If anyone can tell me if this is correct procedure here in the Canary Islands I would appreciate it, or if not, could anyone tell me what I can do about this?
Thanks friends,
Brenda

What does your contract say? Do you have a copy? If you think you are being done over in some way, I suggest you take your contact to the work lawyers above the social offices in Los Cris and have them look over it. As far as I know, it costs nothing for advice.

Your contract should state the amount of hours you are expected to work. If it's a part-time indefinido, by rights you can refuse to work any more than your contracted hours (usually 15 per week) and there's nothing she can do about it... so you could always threaten to do that... I'm sure it'd be a LOT more inconvenient for her than letting you have a half hour lunch break...
