Help required, what is the going rate for an IT network engineer in Tenerife?
Hi all. Getting quite a lot of interest in my services now as an I.T. network engineer. Now if I charge my UK rate I reckon every bit of interest I have will disappear.
Most enquiries I have at the moment are for complete LAN wiring, supply and fit. Pcs, supply and fit and switch/router configuration.
Any idea on an hourly rate for this kind of service here??

I would start at 10€ an hour and then increase it as you get a name for yourself and recommendations.
EDIT: If you're paying your own tax as autonomo, I would up that to 12€

mate most of them charge a concultancy/installation fee rather than an hourly rate.
i.e. 200 euros + impuesto + autonomo per job.
i add the impuesto because you are a service provider so you should have to charge vat straight away as per e.u service sector tax regulations.

Cheers Robby. I've been asked by a few timeshare offices and these daytrip shops what I would charge on maintenance calls. Bit of a loss really.
