What's the weather like in Tenerife in April?

Hi,
I am looking forward to visiting Tenerife again, I was there in Sept 05 and had a fab time.
I am coming back in April 07 and was wondering what the weather is like at that time of the year

hi there.. we were in tenerife feb/april this year & the weather was lovely.. warm sunny days plenty of sunshine however when the sun went down it got really chilly.. needed to wrap up..

Hi, Only 34 more sleeps until i arrive back in the wonderful Isla Bonita Hotel

We were last there in Sept 05 and the weather was really hot 32 degrees most days

Please can someone tell me what i should pack, does it get cool at night or is it still quite warm,
is it cloudy in april,
will i need trousers or just shorts

any advise would be much appreciated

For April, assume beautiful summery weather with slight possibility of torrential downpour. Bring summer things, but a sweater for cooler evenings if it clouds over.
