The rain has finally stopped! Well for now anyway!
Yay! The rain has finally stopped today and the sun has come out! I can't believe how much it's rained in the last 2 weeks! Must of been about 7-8 times that it stopped and started! Hopefully that's the last of the rain for a good while!

Sure, it's hotter than the Uk, but we still get rain... it's warm rain though. The stuff you can go out in your bikini and wash the car in.
TBH, after a really hot summer, it's nice to have some rain!
This summer wasn't as bad as last year, but it can get REALLY hot... sweating sitting still when you're nude - hot. Wind like a hairdryer on hot - hot.
Didn't you hear about the floods in Santa Cruz the other year? Loads of people got killed, homes wrecked and all the medical records in the University Hospital were ruined... I kid you not.

Bloody eck! Floods of all things in Tenerife! That's global warming for you! It was really hot in July/August this year. Even the taxi drivers were complaining lol. The news said it reached 46C for the first couple of days in September. When I got off the plane at 11pm in the evening the hot air really hit me! It was unbelievable but I loved it!

Yeah. It was like that for about 2 months last year. It p***ed it down all winter though. I live in an old Canarian house and I need to get the roof fixed...!

Yeah it was raining heavily all evening and night yesterday as usual it's still warm here and this morning the sun has brightened up the place again so you wouldn't even know that it had been raining lol.
