The prolonged dry spell looks to be over in several parts of the Canaries. The Met Office warns that northern and eastern areas of Tenerife can expect considerable cloud between Tuesday and Thursday.
The overcast skies will bring some rain and a noticeable fall in temperatures today and tomorrow, says the Office, although the good weather should be back towards the end of the week throughout the region. A shipping warning has also been issued for the next 48 hours due to the likelihood of very rough seas off the Islands.

It was quite windy that evening though. I had to put the shutters down 'cos the wind was making an eerie whistling sound!

Don't let those cloudy days fool you!!!!! Behind those clouds lurks the sun as big and bright as ever......all those nasty dangerous rays are still "doing their thing".......so just put on your lotion as usual and go about your day, then surprise, surprise....before you know it you will have a tan without all the grotty red bits!!
