What is the weather like in January / February in Tenerife?
hi im new to this forum and was wanting to know what the weather will be like in tenerife in january, febuary as im going there 27th jan to the 4th of feb 09.would be grateful for any information.
Thats what i like about Tenerife you get all year round sunshinebut sometimes you can get but not a lot.
The main thing is though you don't get the sun factor like in the summer so you won't get as much! Gets chilly at night though.

Nice and hot in the daytime but cooler in the evenings. Us residents can feel it, but tourists wouldn't think anything of it. Sometimes you get a spot of rain, but not had much this year..
normally warm but could be cool, it might rain and there could be snow on teide. It can be windy, have I missed anything, oh yes ,i once saw sleet in Vilaflor
can you give me the lottery numbers for the 2nd week in January as i have a pound to spare?

According to the ceefax weather files it was 20 degrees this year. I was out in Tenerife from 23 -30 Jan 2007 and it rained 2 days which I was told was unusual but it was far warmer than England - it was 8 degrees in England when I left. I was out again 8 - 15 Feb this year and it was 24 and well hot (but then it was 12 in England when I left and ended up being unusually warm that week there ) Whatever it is = you can be sure it will be warmer than in England and you will get to see the sun!
ive been going over for quite a few winters now, and have never been in any weather that isnt beach weather, obviously, aug is hotter than jan,but ive never needed more than a cardigan...amazing indeed!
I prefer weather at that time of year. It's nice to get away from British winter. You nearly always need a sweater at night and of course it is dark early but the weather during the day is much more comfortable than in the summer months imo.
