What's the weather like in Tenerife in November or December?

Thinking of going to Tenerife but can't decide whether to go in November or December. I fancy beginning of November but people saying to go beginning of December - help

November is a very popular time and will naturally be a little warmer and lighter than December.

We just love November. Have been here two and a half years, and we enjoy November. Although December is a great month as well. Come to think of it, Tenerife is just great anytime.

November is a good time to come over as its not to hot but maybe a little cold at night

the weather is normally dry, but we do often get some rain. it's betwen 20-225degrees.

One thing to consider is that it might be cheaper in December ... as people hold off till Christmas, there are often good bargains to be picked up in the first 2 to 3 weeks of the month.

I have been every christmas for the past 3 years, and my fiancee has for the past 12 years, so that shows how brilliant it is. We are late teens, and we always go with her grandparents, and parents and we all absolutely love it as you can tell. We usually go to stay for the christmas and new year celebrations but we cant this year so its going to be january. But yeh, the weather is fantastic as per usual, the pubs, attractions and everything are amazing! Just go, dont even doubt about it.

I agree that ANY time of year in Tenerife is fantastic. Some moanin' minnies may say..it's cold in January...so what if the temperatures go right down to 22 degrees some days..I'll still slum it. anway look at the options here in the UK....2nd thoughts ...don't. Back there in October...can't wait x

Tenerife is a perfect place at any time of year, but if it is cloudy in December, it can be "cold", i.e. 19 to 20 degrees. There seems to be more rain than there used to be ten years ago, but since it is warm, that is rarely a problem. The whole point with both November and December and any "winter" months is that it is so much better than the UK and Europe and is only just over 4 hours away. And the Tenerifians are great!
