phew, yet another great day here - will the wind ever stop blowing night and day after day here in El Medano ...
Started out on 4.2m sail as it was looking well windy, but the wind here is a bit 'thinner' than the UK, and you know what they alledge about tush sails (that they're smaller than their size) ... so I soon changed to the correct size for me - 4.7m (most others were indeed on 4.2's though).
Once i got on the correct size sail it was a cracking day - allthough again a bit crowded at the harbour wall, today being yet another fiesta.
Now I know for sure that my sailing has come on leaps and bounds since we've been here. I'm finally happy with port tack jumps and really getting into the groove on frontside riding - turning harder, sharper, more vertical and thus getting some good cutbacks off the lip - totally adictive
