I just need to confirm that my travel plans to Tenerife are correct.

Ok I'm flying into TFN on Thursday night and arriving at about 2015. I am staying with a friend of mine at a hotel in Playa de las Americas and plan on taking the bus thursday night to get there. I searched the Titsa.com website and found that the 340 route departs from Puerto de la Cruz at around 2145 which should put it at TFN somewhere around 2210. From there I will take the bus to the South Airport and then a cab to Playa de las Americas should be about 15 euro correct?

This is the route I found

    titsa.com : HOME

Any flaws? Also is there another line that would run from TFN to Reina Sofia at that time of night if somehow I miss that bus?

Thanks in advance and I can't wait to visit the islands!

All your plan sounds good apart from the taxi fare, i think you will be looking at more like 20 - 25 euros!
I've never had a humble opinion. If you've got an opinion, why be humble about it?

Perhaps it would be cheaper to take a bus from TFN to Santa Cruz bus stop and then take the direct bus to PLDA? Also any estimates for the cost of taking a bus all the way from one side of the island to the other?

It looks like I can just take the 102 from TFN to Santa Cruz and then the 111 would go directly to PDLA from htere correct? Sorry, I just don't want to get stranded my first night!

    Thanks again.

As for an intro my name is Marko and I'm an American student that lives in Madrid. Teide looked like a good mountain to climb in a weekend and was highly recommended by a climbing friend of mine so I'm going there to climb el Teide. Looking forward to visiting the islands.

your best bet is (if you can that time of night) is buy a bono bus pass, far cheaper and it can be used on any titsa bus route the 111 leaves santa cruz@22.30 ,23.30 then 02.30 by the way you need a pass to climb teide ...happy holiday .. just as an after thought is it possible to purchase a bono pass for titsa in madrid save you a lot of hassle !!
