Diving and accomodation needed in Tenerife in a quiet resort

Hubby, me and son are looking for 2 bed accomodation (would prefer 2 bedrooms rather than someone having to sleep on a sofa bed). We dont know Tenerife at all and would like somewhere that isnt too touristy but has some nice restaurants and maybe harbour area for evening strolls etc. We have been told Costa Adeje/Torviscas?

Hubby and son like to dive and so info about diving and the best places to go would be good too. Or maybe a dive centre that offers accom too?

That is slap bang in the middle of the tourist area.

Las Galletas is a typical Spanish village that just happens to be by the sea, there's a (not brilliant) beach, a harbour and a diving school there.

Don't interrupt me when I'm ignoring you!

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Costa Adeje is full of tourists so if you want to be away from them going there would be the wrong place. Check out Palm Mar, Los Abrigos, or Las Galletas.

Ok, so Las galletas is winning so far.
I've contacted westhavenbay for accom although their website doesnt seem to be working.
Any other ideas.
I have about 3 dive centres who all seem to be in the Las galletas area.
Any recommendations - tenerife scuba, tenerife dive and dive tenerife?

pm me if you would prefer

You could also add La Caletta into the bag...

Las galletas gets my vote

I live in Las Galletas and think this is what you are probably looking for, lots of dive schools, not sure about holiday accomodation though as its more residential but lots of shops to look round while they are off diving

they will sort everything out for you,
they are in a small village called Abades, which is quiet,

best of luck

Well we've booked with Westhaven - or I think we have. Just waiting for paperwork etc. The diving centres are all in the same area and as hubby just wants to do a days diving, we'll wander around/into the centres and chat to them. Island divers has been thrown into the pot too, so I dont think we'll be short of choice.

Next question or maybe I'll post it elsewhere - restaurants, any recommendations. I've heard Westhavens own restaurant is very good. Any more
