I think the bus journeys can be a bit of an adventure! We had a friend who came to stay with us recently, who made the mistake of waiting for a return bus, at the same place she had been dropped in Los Cristianos by the bus from Callao Salvaje. She was unaware that nothing is as it seems in Tenerife

She suddenly noticed the correct number bus leaving without her from a different part of the bus station!
For the south of the island it seems as if Los Cristianos is a good place to aim for & then re-route from there. Our children( early 20's) use the buses quite a lot when they come to visit.
I know that journeys can twist and turn round the villages so may be quite long. But - hopefully the TITSA site makes a useful starting point for the info - and the site is in English!
