http://www.titsa.com/lineas.asp?idl=487 I think is the one you would need to get to Los Cristianos from the airport and this http://www.titsa.com/correspondencia...cmd=2&idC=7160 seems to be the link between Los Cristianos & La Caleta.

I discovered La Caleta last time I was in Tenerife but found it took 1 .5 hours to walk there from LC

Being a numtie - taking the bus seemed to complicated that time but this should help loads

Even the bus time table can be tricky to understand.
As far as I can remember, you need the 487 from the airport and you can get off at either Los Cristianos or the bus station in Las Americas. Then you need the 416 Granadilla to Adeje (Los Olivios) bus and that goes through La Caleta.
But please double check that!!!

I think the bus journeys can be a bit of an adventure! We had a friend who came to stay with us recently, who made the mistake of waiting for a return bus, at the same place she had been dropped in Los Cristianos by the bus from Callao Salvaje. She was unaware that nothing is as it seems in Tenerife She suddenly noticed the correct number bus leaving without her from a different part of the bus station!

For the south of the island it seems as if Los Cristianos is a good place to aim for & then re-route from there. Our children( early 20's) use the buses quite a lot when they come to visit.

I know that journeys can twist and turn round the villages so may be quite long. But - hopefully the TITSA site makes a useful starting point for the info - and the site is in English!
