Baggage restrictions lifted at SOME airports

Baggage restrictions have been lifted at Some airports in the UK & not others, so confusion will be the order of the day. Below is a list of the airports that thave lifted the restrictions
Airports where the one-bag rule no longer applies:

Aberdeen, Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heathrow, Inverness, IslayKirkwall, London City, Manchester, Newcastle, Plymouth, Prestwick, Southampton, Southend, Stansted, Stornoway, Sumburgh, Wick.

Easy Jet regardless of where it flies from still have the restrictions in place for now to prevent confusion.

If in doubt only have 1 piece of hand luggage.

What a mess

There's a report from the BBC HERE which agrees that confusion will be likely.

Exclamation As usual it’s a right mess.

It’s now possible to fly out in the morning from one UK airport to another UK airport with 2 bags.

However because the destination airport is not cleared for 2 bags you can only take one of same 2 bags with you when you return.

Go back a bit, before the increased security and most charter flights had a one bag limit, normally 5kgs (scheduled 6kgs)
