1cent flights to Tenerife

Ryan air are offering 1cent flights to Tenerife from Dublin on many dates during April. Return is a bit dearer but you could for instance fly out on the 28th or 21st April for 1cent oand return on the 7th May for 29.99 so only 30euro return. Even adding taxes and baggage you are still only talking about 75euro (60pound approx) return.

My husband is currently working in Dublin and takes advantage of these fares on a regular basis.

If you think of it as a flying bus without the frills you won't be disappointed!

I agree. I think of it like a flying bus. (Infact I used to bus from Dublin toGermany before Ryanair started and it cost more). We can afford to go to Tenerife three times a year now compared to once, and it is cheaper than holidating at home

Great news for you in Ireland , not such good news for those in the UK though, perhaps it would be cheaper for people to get a shuttle to Dublin then fly onto Tenerife.

You might find it is cheaper to fly via Dublin to Tenerife. Will take you longer but if it is a significant saving it could be worth it.

We may have to look at this option as Thomsonfly are pulling all their Tenerife flights from Bournemouth at the end of April. They were flying on Tuesday, Friday and recently Sunday to Tenerife, but are axing ALL these flights in favour of introducing other destinations, even though they used to sell out on a regular basis.
This will leave only Palmair, a small local airline, flying to Tenerife on Friday - unless another airline comes in and snaps up the custom. People here are devastated at Thomsonfly's decision as Tenerife's popularity has snowballed recently.
But we can fly Ryanair to Dublin, so maybe it will mean getting a connecting flight to Tenerife - still easier than getting to Gatwick!

Thomsonfly have done the same here too. No flights after beginning of May from Cardiff or Bristol, & all the other airlines seems to be flying Fridays only for the summer.

How cr*p is that?!!!!

Have Thomsonfly got something against Tenerife? I just hope the other destinations go t*ts up for them. Some of the places they have chosen to fly to from Bournemouth are already adequately covered by other airlines!
