i have just booked 2 flights from east midlands/tfs in jan 08 air malta £248... 2 tickets total price,not bad considering how much they have gone up,.. i did it through ebookers.com,hope this helps

The original enquirer asked for help with flights over New Year, so I don't think Jan 8 flights will be of much help!!!

Birmingham to TFS one way on Dec 31 still available for 80 quid with Monarch, arriving in time for a big party at midnight.

BA from Gatwick £69 14:45 on 31st dec, various returns from same price up to 100.00 depending on the day, after the 13th or 14th jan

Thanks for that but it has to be from a northern airport and 31st is a bit late. Imagine if they get delayed and end up having new year in the airport!
