Simple answer, don't bring so much, bung it all in your hand luggage. I wore three shirts and two pairs of shorts and washed them, they dry in no time! __________________ Never Worry! That'll be the next thing they stop, under some bizarre health heading, as they are losing revenue on the inflight meals due to it __________________ Max x | | | 21st September 2007, 13:02 | #6 (permalink) | | Tenerifian Join Date: Nov 2005 Gender: Posts: 130 | Quote: Originally Posted by MaxineC Exactly - they've got us by the short & curly's, so to speak Now food is also charged extra, many people are taking sandwiches etc with them.... Anyway back on topic, it seems all the budget airlines are charging for hold luggage these days, we flew to Dublin with Ryaniar last week & decided to pack everything as hand luggage to avoid paying, then discovered hand luggage is 10KG max (unlike Easyjet where it is unlimited) and of course you cannot take any liquids with you then such as toiletries. We ended up having to pay £20 return for a suitcase. So our £4.99 each way flight cost us about £50 together with taxes, baggage charges, credit card charge etc __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. I can see it in the future . . . . . 'So tell me sir, would you like to travel seated or in our new standing class stalls? We have introduced them in an attempt to offer you the consumer more choice, by the way, seated is ONLY a £25 per journey premium, ideal for those who are perhaps infirm or cannot stand for long periods of time. Should you want to take advantage of our new value Standing Stalls, you have two choices, they are Premium Standing Stalls or Standard Standing Stalls? Standard Standing Stalls give you a very comfortable full 8 inches between you and the passager in front where as our Premuim Standing Stalls (available for ONLY £10 per journey) allow you a very generous 12 inches of space - ideal for those wanting to breath on the journey.' __________________ A gourmet who counts calories is like a tart who looks at her watch To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
