Are there any chess clubs in Tenerife, or does someone fancy a game?
I have found myself playing a fair bit of chess on line but feel its a bit antisocial, arethere any chess clubs , south of the Island preferably, or if anyone near Golf del Sur wants a cuppa and a game p. m. me
I lived in the south long ago. I remember there was something like a chess school in Arona, it was based in the City Hall and the teacher was a quite young guy. No idea how things are at the moment, and if English is spoken, but it is worthwhile asking them for further information.
Any more on this? I'm not one for socialising much, and I'm crap at chess, but I still enjoy it and I'd love to take it up again. Dave.
