Is there there is anywhere in Tenerife that does archery or clay pigeon shooting?
Does anyone know if there is anywhere on the island that does archery or clay pigeon shooting? We have never been before so are complete novices but know a few in our group that would love to do it. (Feel like all our posts are questions at the moment, sorry!)

I know of a number of people who have wanted to set this up as a business but always fell at the hurdle where it came to public liability insurance. For some reason the idea of tourists, booze, arrows or loaded weapons gave the insurance assessors apoplexy, not really a combination they felt worth the risk

Don't know of anywhere on the island where you can carry out either of these activities. I used to shoot clay pigeons for about ten years in the UK before we moved here.
I remember several years ago that there was a company that toured holiday complexes doing Laser Clay Pidgeon shooting, no idea if they are still around though

i dont think theres any clay pigeon shooting but you can go shooting rabbits in the autumn, but the're quite strict about it, you'll need to get a half day permit and go to selected areas, ask at the town house..
There is a clay shooting competition advertised in Tejina next weekend so there must be somewhere round that way that does it, i'll try and find out more this week, failing that i will keep my ears open, can't be that hard to hear it.
