How old do you think you have to be to join a pool or darts team?My son is 16 in June and plays for a local pool and darts team.He is a good player especially at pool and beats most opponents.Some people seem to think an age limit of 18 should be put on this.Whats the forum view?

He is old enough to join the army and shoot a gun I think so he should be allowed to shoot pool as well.

Serioulsy raising the age limit JUST to eliminate him would be discrimination IMHO. Cant think of any other reason this would even be considered.

lo in england the reason you av to be 18 is for licensing laws,ie kids av to be off premises for 7pm,matches dont start till 8-30pm in most cases,where i come from in england,its up to the landlords decrestion and most pubs let them in. hope this helps

Can't see a problem with his age, not here in Tenerife anyway.
There's often younger ones than yours in bars till all hours, as long as they are reasonably quiet and well behaved I don't mind them. Let him play.

We live in Tenerife though with Tenerife rules.Hes always supervised with an adult and prob takes it more serious than one,lol.He wouldnt have the opportunity back there!!!Plus hes only bout 3ft tall and looks about 11,lol.Thanx
