If I wanted to, say, climb Guaza hill; are there any licenses or permissions to be sought?

Are there any rules about walking on 'wild' land in Tenerife?

Can anyone just go for a scramble across the countryside?

Needless to say, I'm not talking about cultivated, or obviously owned land.

no, there are no restrictions for the guaza hill, in fact there is actually a path from palm mar ( well, more or less where the palm mar arch is). just google-earth it

Also a path from the Los Cristianos side, at the end of the beach. Happy climbing.
