    Hi Frankiie,

There are two places in El Medano you can hire windsurfing boards, OTC centre and surfcenter. The surfcenter have instructors for beginners. The OTC centre only hire equipment out.

If you have never tried windsurfing before, you will definately need some lessons before your parents buy you any equipment.

There are a couple of youngsters on the forum who are taking windsurfing lessons, hopefully they will see this thread and respond to your post.

It would probably be best then to have a few more lessons. the surfcenter is the place to have lessons and they can also advise you about buying second hand equipment.

Windsurfing is a wonderful sport, I have been doing it for 20 years.

I will probably see you on the water one day, don't race pass me though, as I get upset easily.

    Goodluck
