Just about everyone who drives over here thinks that they are boy racers!!

But to answer seriously, there are quite a few modified cars over here, I see them quite regularly on the back of tow trucks after being pulled over at police checks and taken away for what ever reason, but I presume that there must be some club for "modded" cars....I'm well out of thouch with this sort of thing but there are a lot of cars displaying windoes stickers saying "project car" I don't know if that is a club of some sort or a current brand name in modding circles.

I know that there are clubs for vintage and retro cars and there is a big rally and time trials scene.

    Hope that helps a little.

There's always loads of Spanish boy racers driving round the villages until the early hours and most end up parked down at Las Americas some nights too but I haven't seen any English boy racers over here yet. I miss my car that I had in the UK, me and my mates liked to think we were girl racers, a bit like the Pink Ladies but with cars! Lol

    Is there really! Fantastic!

Right up my street, so to speak. Despise boy racers but if there is a sprint/rally scene. I'm there!

The "boy ricers" (spelling intended ) all seem to drive brand new cars with very naff exhausts, that much I have learned.

hehehe, there are 2 types of boy racer.

There is the 1 litre micra / corsa with the coffee can exhaust that sounds naff with undercarriage lights and stickers and tinted windows.

then there is the (proper) suburu imprezza / legacy, honda integra / prelude / civic types with the uprated suspension / swaybars, gearing, brakes, nitros (nos) etc.

I loved my integra (had 2 of em) i didnt mod them, it was quick enough for me 1.8L vtec engine - 185bhp or thereaobuts. Was often tempted to go to a "meet" but never bothered. Had to get rid once the kiddies arrived.

Ride the bike now (Suzuki gsxr 750 - I still like my toys

I was an Evo man myself Brian, but after £40k decided it was time to be sensible and went to a Gp N 205 gti Rally car

But I fully intend to invest in another bike at some point, possibly a gsxr 1100 no mods, it's fast enough!!!
