I looked up that member and she has no posts so maybe does not come on here much. I'm looking for someone to maybe give a few lesson to a 3/1/2 year old , just very basic before he goes to school. I might sit in myself too as basic would be a good grounding for me too.

Hi my advice is not to give formal lessons to your little one before starting school but rather to make the most of the summer and get them mixing with canarian kids of their own age especially kids who will be starting school with them in September ( ie in the same catchment area)
The kind of spanish your child will need for preschool occurs in that kind of environment anyway and you will build up the little one's confidence naturally.
You have chosen the perfect time to put your child into spanish school as children of this age simply absorb what is around them!
I wish you good luck in your venture and if you do in fact opt for lessons make them fun lessons and nothing "serious"

That's the problem, there are not many kids around to socialise with. We live in a complex with not many children. He goes to pre school but its 50/50 and while he is been thought some Spanish its not immersion.
We bring him to outside social groups , play grounds etc but again too much English. We will see what we can do in the summer.
Hes like a sponge so that's why I was thinking a few basic , fun lessons might help.
Thanks for the advise , points well taken.
