Los Angeles Restaurant, Cabo Blanco, Tenerife

This is a Spanish run restaurant but the owner speaks perfect English even though he's never been to England! He's had the restaurant for about 25 years in total and the food's just as great! Try the leg of lanb or the roast chicken I know chicken sounds boring but the taste of it is amazing and the prices match the food - it's great! The restaurant looks fantastic, nice and clean. Please go and visit!

This has always been our absolute favourite on the island - quality and presentation of food second to none. We were gutted to be told by Pedro (the owner) at the end of last year that he would be forced to closed due to a decline in trade - he simply couldnt make it pay - not enough of us making the trip up the mountain. Now the doors to this beautiful restaurant remain locked and Pedro's flair and talent for wonderful food are elsewhere ..... does anyone know where ???

Pedro is working as a waiter in Las Americas, he has a daughter we went to the Christening and is getting on o.k but would rather be working for himself... I used to golf with him when he ran the restaurant at El Nautica on the golf..

Thanks OG - please pass on the regards of 'The Dickens Family' if you bump into him. We still cant help but ring the restaurant every so often just in case he's re-opened .... we can live in hope ! Mmmmmm, goats cheese with caramelised endives starter ......... roast shoulder of lamb .......... and a big decision between 3 chocolate mouse or Copa Los Angeles ........... those were the days !!
