Try the chicken cordon bleu, its the size of a house brick & delicious. When we go down in the car, we use the car park just the sea side of the 2 restaurants, some 50 metres away, for 65 cents per hour. Take the road down to Peurto Colon & into the right hand lane for the car park & get a ticket from the machine, when you leave pay at the little hut.

The trick is to get in the right lane as the left lane just takes you through & you have to do a full lap around San Eugenio again. Plenty of room for new Skodas.

Eaten in both of these a million times, Vista al Mar is quicker and quieter, Gran Paella is always very busy, this is the only restaurant in Tenerife where the Pr keeps people out until it is their turn for a table!
Vista al Mar last Sunday was good, fantastic value for money and yes it is same menu as Gran Paella but there is something about Gran Paella, its nicer, food is nicer, presented better!
Both restaurants are the Mutts Nuts but for me and i was there 9 hrs ago having 2 mixed grills like you wouldn't believe (one for me and one for me little lad) for 5.95 each you WILL NOT find anywhere better on this Island than Gran Paella Valenciana and i stake what little reputation i have left on that!

My favourite is the seafood paella, but not for breakfast.
