La Centinela, Valle San Lorenzo, Tenerife

I just have to post a review it was excellent.

The first thing that hits you is the view down to San Miguel and beyond,as it is at the top of Valle San Lorenzo. If you want a short ish drive and to impress someone then take them for Lunch on a clear day.

It was a Sunday Lunch when we went and I had stuffed Peppers and my wife had Mushrooms with Ham, we followed it with Lamb, I was amazed when they brought out the leg to our table and carved it up, very nice touch.

The sweets were excellent but we only had coffee as our boy was being a boy, as they say, yes he was bored watching us eat all the food.

I have been in most of the better hotel restaurants such as, Sheraton, Bahia, Gran Adeje and so on but this was half the price and honestly a lot better.

The service was excellent, they even brought us over an additional starter to try.

Well worth a visit.

We live just up the road from this restaurant and although have never had a meal in there we often stop for a coffee and a large wedge of chocolate cake when we have been out during the day MMMmmmmmm

we went last week on a friday evening, i had been there before for luch a few times. It is very well presented and the staff are friendly.I liked the choice on the menu and felt it offered something for everyones taste. There was a girl playing a harp which was very soothing and relaxing.I would certainly recommend it and it will be added to our list of regulars.
