Carlos Resturant (under Club Atlantis), Puerto Colon, Tenerife

This has to be my all time favourite restaurant.
Its on the road leading down to Puerto Colon running past Club Atlantis.
The food is fantastic, the setting is lovely... not your typical touristy place
The prices are that little bit higher than tourist restaurants but the freshness and quality of the food is just stunning, well worth those extra couple of euro's.
A must visit for any resident or visitor.

I agree. They have certainly created a beautiful restaurant, excellent menu and in my opinion have one of the best chefs on the island. This little gem should certainly be tried by more of you. You will not be disappointed.

I have to admit I am rather lucky and a little bias here because I actually know this amazing chef and his lovely wife and I do now consider myself a personal friend (although what they think of us remains to be seen, especially since Geetimuk fell in their topiary)

Unfortunately Geetimuk has gone and invited them over for dinner at ours

Think I will have to get a chef in for the night and take the credit

Can you give me an idea how to find it? We stay at the Mare Nostrum. I know where the Hotel Bouganville is. Is it very far from there?

Ok......I hope this doesn't confuse you more...but actually can someone else do it.

Carlos is....Do you know where Wady properties is....the car park at Puerto Colon..well kind of opposite the entrance to the car park (near the restaurant bits, near the steps, the side near the entrance to the bars on the round building) there's a hill and its up there but under cover, its not easy to find......under Club Atlantis hotel.....yes Its coming back to me now...near to Club Atlantis car park and its next door to Sloops bar..........although don't let that put you off...no offence to sloops I have actually been there and it was a good laugh (although I don't think it was mean't to be)

Geetimuk can tell you where Carlos is but he's not here.....umm can anyone else clarify....its easy when you know where it is...sorry.

Nice attempt Yummy Mummy,

If you go down the main road towards the Puerto Colon car park, it is half way down on your left hand side under the Club Atlantis. Quite simple really.

I could kick myself - stayed at Club Atlantis for 2 weeks last year and never even saw Carlos restaurant - must have walked past it about 60-70 times at least
