I am in San Eugenio area a lot so decided to give the new Matlock bar a try, I had full english breakfast and it was everything I expect. On Sunday I have my regular place to eat Sunday Lunch but again I thought I would try Matlocks and I was not dissapointed it was beautifully presented, fresh veg etc yum yum! I was reading the menu and noticed on Friday evenings they have fish and chip night so that will be my next visit. It is also in a great position at the top of the road leading up from the harbour in Puerto colon because my friend lives at the bottom of the hill so by the time I get there I have already burned lots of calories off ready for my pig out .

Matlocks Bar, San Eugenio, Tenerife

Went down to San Eugenio with mates for a drink. We ended up with munchies, saw what used to be the Rainbow bar, (next door to Scotch Corner) was open again and now called Matlocks. Decided to go in, REALLY nice. Food great and plenty of choice, REALLY CLEAN establishment, staff really nice.. What a laugh you get in the gents toilets (Your mind is boggling now aint it - Go see for yourself). Just a really nice bar / bistro / restaurant, obviously aiming to provide something a wee bit different in the area.

Since am out and about in that area a lot, I will definitely be making it a regular haunt for breakfast, lunch or dinner - Lovely Jubbly !!!

Em and I called in there today for a quick bite and a refresher. What can I say apart from excellent! The sandwiches were very tasty and we had some cheesy chips to accompany them. Mmmmm cheesy chips

Staff were very efficient and friendly. We'll definately be going again!

Next door to Scotch Corner under Los Geranios. I think it was previously called the Rainbow Bar.
