An Audience With Ricky Hatton : 2nd & 3rd August in Las Americas, Tenerife
Just to let forum members know about this amazing event, the first of it´s kind in Tenerife. On Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of August, at the Mare Nostrum resort, 6.30 for 7pm, with a red carpet welcome and glass of bubbly.You will then be seated for a gala dinner, with complimentary beer and wine until 11pm. Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton will be chatting about his experiences and answering questions from the audience. There will also be top comedian Sid "The Scrapman" Dennis and a compere will host the evening. A raffle and memorabilia auction will be held later in the evening. The dress code is smart casual, and tickets are available from the sole agent, Tenerife Property Links sl, CC San Blas, Golf del Sur, 922 738039, at €125 per person. Tables of 10 can also be purchased at €1200, the ideal event for a corporate night out. A credit card machine is in the office if needed. There are only 50 tables per night available, and these events in the UK sell out very quickly, so dont delay. PM me for any further info.

I will find out. Nick Page says he is brilliant, really funny. I´m neither the organiser or the sole agent for ticket sales, thats afriend of mine. She is a forum member but hates computers so she asked me to post for her, as I am an anorak and always on here

Don´t shoot the messenger As I say above, its not me putting the show on, apparently they do them regularly in the UK and they are very popular so, as Ricky has property here and likes Tenerife, they thought they would bring the evening here. Good opportunity to get your glad rags on though. Lastly, IMO, although €125 isnt cheap by any means, for a 4 course meal in an establishment of that calibre, AND 4 hours of drinking, AND being in the company of who is, lets face it, a very well known sportsman, I dont actually think its that bad.

If it's the same Sid Dennis that I saw a couple of years ago, Nick is right. He's fantastic.

I personally dont have the funds available to go along to this, but I do not begrudge the man at all from trying to earn some money from this, after all a boxers career is short compared to most ordinary workers. Good Luck to Ricky.

This is a great Idea but I just can not come till two weeks later.
Been to quite a few of these always been a great opportunity for an unusual present for us blokes; (but always better and more enjoyable if the boss pays as a treat for working hard people)
I do hope it goes well. I heard his mum on the radio once talking about him in the carpet shop, now she would be worth twice the price,to spill the beans whilst he watched in the corner.

Does he not do that every day in The Dubliner when he is here on holiday? He has never refused to speak to me when i've been in his company and never charged either unless you count buying him a beer?
