Rags

When I first came to Tenerife, I moved over here to live with my boyfriend who I met when I was holidaying here about a year ago.

I met him in RAGS, he DJ's 1-3 and his name is Richy.

When I got home we were both gutted, so we kept in touch via text and emails, phonecalls etc. A year down the line and I'm here for good and we're happier than ever. Definately the best club in reef!

The DJ's have got to be some of the best on the island. They play a wide selection of music. When I was holidaying last year, I remember me and my sister spending every night in RAGS, and Steve used to play pleasure rooms (a club in Liverpool were I originally worked) music.

The only negative thing I could say about the place is the fact it needs some serious expansion... by about 3 o'clock you feel like a sardine in a tin

Drinks are just average prices really for the island. However get a PR and get 4 drinks for the price of 2.

Staff are friendly and very chatty when approached.

I have to agree Rags is a top place to be, even being boiling hot and squished didnt stop me and my mates going in there. I have to say I thought Dylan was a wicked DJ he played my kind of music and was a real laugh on the mic aswell. I miss Tenerife and the nightlife so much I want to come back out there but cant on my own

the clubs just arnt the same in Birmingham!!
Oh ye another good thing about the DJ Dylan... he was mega sexy!! lol!

Lol i guess i shouldnt really comment but yeh Dylan is GORGEOUS! so is ben though lol.... theyre all gorgeous except maybe steve whos 54 haha!

which DJ are you on about? i know DJ Richy but he aint got a girlfriend i asked him last night!!

Many people say how the Canarians are racist towards us but how about this,

My daughter has been to Rags many many times with her British mates and enjoyed the evening.

Last night after she went to yet another of the many fiestas she has been to with her Canarian boyfriend, and being made more than welcome by the Canarians there they decided to go to Rags. When they got there they were told that she could go in but if her boyfriend, his friends and their girlfriends wanted to go in they would have to pay 10 euros each. My daughter asked why and was told 'because they are Spanish'

I find this absolutely disgusting. How can non Canarian people complain about racism towards them if this is how we treat them in their own Country.
