It is opossite Esmeralda hotel. Cool decoration, chill-out zone and excellent sea views. I was here last saturdays and I fell very well. I think what his name is "el faro". They are the owners the Metropolis.
A crowd of us spent my daughters birthday there at the end of June. Particularly loved the bar on the roof. Fantastic views and very cosy seating. The club itself was also very good, well air conditioned and plenty of bars and staff. All I can say a great night {and most of the early hours of the next morning} were had by all.
Too much bright, too much withe, too much aceptic, too much expensive.
1-Too much bright: It's little cosy and friendly. A shop window where everybody look at everybody
2-Too much white: that dazzling interior design could to be ok in a boutique but not in a pub.
3-Too much aceptic: difficult meet people. Only the tiresome singer's band seem flirting (and on top everything, everyone think they are 'don Juan')
Well the faro is the antithesis of that. Is cosy, relaxing. You can to be dancing or looking the boats. International atmosphere locals and foriegners, sexy women, sexy men..and nobody singing! this will be my favourite disco
Went a while ago to the new El Faro bar / nightclub ....... what a classy establishment this is ! Located between Puerto Colon and Playa Toriviscas , where the old market used to be , cant miss it just look for the great big lit up lighthouse . There is a fantastic chillout roof terrace with a bar ans really spectacular views , down stairs you have the Greek Terrace , another chillout area in the fresh air , then theres the main room where you can dance the night away with Djs playing top music . Drinks are normal club prices , 7€ for a vodka and cranberry. Its worth visiting just to see the tiolets!!!!! Highly recommened you try it . Go earlier for a relaxing drinking or go later for a dance . It gets really busy on fridays and Saturdays , so parking is a bit difficult , however it is possible to park in the underground parking of the hotel La Niña .

We went for my Daughters birthday in June and agree with Em-ma, the place is fabulous. If you are looking for something a bit up market with a mixed age group then this is definately the place. Love the open air bar with it's views and 'cosy' seating areas
The toilets are probably nice as they are not used much at 7€ for a vodka wont get any of my pension.....

Jackie you made comment about the age group in El Faro being mixed, I agree Faro is a beautiful place but I found the music and people there very young or was that because it was a Saturday, wondered if there was a certain night that attracted the.... shall we say people of more advanced years. I get very disheartened that there seems nowhere for my age group to have a good dance and do a bit of talent spotting
