Baby milk warning issued in the Canaries after reported outbreaks of salmonella.
Mothers in the Canaries have been urged not to use tins of a well-known brand of baby milk following confirmation of almost 30 outbreaks of salmonella poisoning among infants in Spain.
The Ministry of Health says the milk, made by Sanutri, has been withdrawn from shops as a precuationary measure but thousands of tins have already been bought and should not be used. 23 of the 29 youngsters affected by the poisoning, which has taken place over several months, are under the age of one year.
