Poisoned meat thrown into Dingo's Dog Rescue last night
There is a major problem at Dingo's today, whilst Phil and Leigh were out fundraising and collecting the food last night someone has thrown poison chicken over the fence. About 10 dogs have eaten it, fortunately it doesn't appear to have been a very strong poison and most are looking like they will be ok due to Phils quick actions and Leighs nursing care. One dog named Maria is pretty ill though as she was older and weaker than the rest and for her it is too close to call at the moment. (fingers crossed for her) The shelter needs covering over where it is closest to the road as this has happened many times before so i am appealing for netting, if anyone has a spare or part roll tucked away in the garage or wishes to buy a roll to donate anything at all would be greatly appreciated. This is probably too much to ask but if anyone on here knows a plantation owner and they have or are replacing one of the covers of the shelters that would be like christmas come early for the rescue.

Shocking behaviour. Is it because the dogs are bothering surrounding residents Andy, not that thats any excuse??? Eugenio is looking for land at the moment, and like he says, if he were to put the refuge on the moon someone would complain!!

He is in dispute with his Landlord at the moment, his landlord is away at the moment for a few weeks but its still happening, i was up there last night and gave Phil and Leigh a lift down to the main road for the bus to Las Americas. The nearest neighbour saw us leave, Phil thinks that he passes info on about when they are there and when they aren't to the landlords family, hey presto he saw us leave and the same night there is poison thrown on the land. This isn't right, the Guardia say they know who is doing it, but as always with this Island it takes 2 - 4 yrs for things to get done, only thing Phil can do is try the best he can to protect his land, CCTV would be good but without money its not an option, if anyone can suggest anything to help then we are open to any suggestions! Broke my heart tonight to see so many spaced out doggies that have all taken in poison, as i said most will survive, spoke to Phil about midnight and Maria still very poorly bless her.. God help them if i ever get a hold of the people that are doing it i'll feed them the poison myself!

That is so awful. Those poor dogs and the people who care for them must be so worried. How can people do such terrible things. They should be made an example of. I do hope your friends are able to bring these people to justice.
