A full investigation has been opened into the death of the man.
An airport operative died in Tenerife Sur airport at 10pm on Monday night when he was sucked into a jet engine on a plane belonging to the LTE charter company. It happened when he was inspecting the plane and testing the engine ahead of take-off.

He died instantly with his body being shredded by the force of the turbine. The Judicial Police have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.dreadfull death

This is a really dreadful tradgedy and I really don't know what else to say, but my thought are with his family and friends.

It just goes to show how important it is to strictly follow established safety procedures and not waver from them.
