*LATEST NEWS* More Forest fires in the Canary Islands
I live in Alcala and for the past hour and a half, (now 4.30ish) 15 to 20 fire engines have shot past all sirens ringing?
Anyone Know? hope it is not in the forest again..lots of heat around at the moment.
Now another has just passed returning in the Los gigs area??? Do they go somewhere to refill? I have seen them in emergencies taking water from the sea.

Major fires have broken out on La Gomera. Towns have been evacuated in the Northern part of the Island.
It has been on TV Canaria and even was a National news flash. Looks bad and the winds are still very strong.
That's terrible. Keep us posted if you hear anything else.

Its on the news now (ic canarias) it is really bad there are fires everywhere, buildings have burned down as well. Its just showed the fire engines from Tenerife coming off the Fred Olsens, not looking good from what i can see.
