Two men are being hunted by police in the La Matanza area of Tenerife
Two men who gave police the slip after a 25km motorway car chase are still being hunted in the La Matanza area of Tenerife.
The pair were driving a top of the range BMW, which police tried to stop at a routine checkpoint. The car failed to stop and continued at speed along the motorway, followed by several police and Civil Guard vehicles. The chasers lost the BMW in La Matanza and it was later found abandoned outside the town. It is believed the occupants may have been carrying a large amount of drugs in the vehicle.
