Danny White aged nine saves six year old boy, Harrison, from drowning in Tenerife!

A RAWCLIFFE Bridge boy has been praised for his quick actions which helped save the life of a six-year-old.
Hero Danny White (nine) was on holiday with his family in Tenerife when he made friends with Harrison of Bournemouth.

Well done, that lad, he clearly saved a life. Of course, this begs the question why the youngster was allowed a rubber ring in the pool - if it was a touristic complex, where was the lifeguard? If not, where were the parents? Many people complain about the enforced ban of inflatables in the pool in our complex, but they just don't get it.

Thumbs up Well done Danny.

We are all very proud of you Danny! Quick thinking, and decisive action.
Rawcliffe Bridge is close to us, we lived most of our lives at Thorne.
Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

My Mood:
Hi Jantel, I can remember having to get off the bus at one side of the bridge, and walk over it (the bridge), the bus following after! Then we got back on again and continued our journey. I had completely forgotten about that one. Thanks for the memory.
