A 29-year-old man from Güímar in Tenerife has been arrested and charged with seriously assaulting his 7-month old baby.
The arrest was made after doctors at a local health centre contacted police with their suspicions that heavy bruising and other injuries detected, when the small baby was brought for treatment, may have been caused deliberately. The father appeared in court on Wednesday.

In my wildest dreams I can't believe a grown person would harm a child! I don't know the full story of this, but this sort of thing makes my blood boil!

This is a horrible thing that happens everywhere! Something must have snapped for him to do such a horrible thing. I hope he gets everything he deserves.
