A British man has been arrested in Los Cristianos on suspicion of murdering his wife.

aw thats awful.. its getting worse! think someone got stabbed where i live to cos there was a bit pool of blood on the floor few days ago! its actually still there....i wanna move now !

El hombre que mató anoche a su mujer se encuentra detenido en la Comisaría Sur de Tenerife
Se trata de un británico de 47 años y con graves problemas mentales. La Policía encontró en su casa a su mujer muerta, tendida en el suelo y con varias cortadas en el cuerpo, sobre todo en la zona del cuello. El juez y el forense procedieron anoche al levantamiento del cadáver. Un hombre de 47 años ha sido detenido por, presuntamente, matar a su mujer de varias puñaladas. El crimen tuvo lugar este sábado en Los Cristianos, término municipal de Adeje, y el supuesto autor se encuentra en estos momentos en la Comisaría Sur de Tenerife.
Según fuentes de la Delegación del Gobierno, se trata de un británico de 47 años con graves problemas mentales, ya que incluso no reconoce a personas que le son muy cercanas. Al parecer, tras matar a su mujer, también británica y de unos 40 años, fueal bar que está debajo de su casa y le preguntó al dueño si sabía dónde vivía.
A pesar de que no se ha confirmado que llevase manchas de sangre en la ropa, todo apunta a que es así, ya que el dueño del bar, al ver el aspecto que presentaba, llamó por teléfono a la Policía.
Cuando los agentes llegaron al domicilio del matrimonio, se encontraron con el cuerpo de la mujer tendido sobre el suelo. La víctima presentaba varios cortes en el cuerpo, especialmente en la zona del cuello. El juez y el forense procedieron anoche al levantamiento del cadáver.

The man seems to have serious mental problems, given that he cannot even recognize close friends and family. It appears that after killing his wife, who was aged 40 and also British, he went down to the bar under his house and asked the owner if he knew where he lived. It has not yet been confirmed that the man's clothes were blood-stained, but this seems likely, since it was the appearance that he presented which prompted the bar owner to alert the police.
