Just got back from the Sol Sun Beach Apartments and they were very good. No aircon, you have to hire a fan but very spacious inside and we had a front sea view.

My mum stayed here a year ago and I (and they) thought they were nice. The pool was great for the kids and the apartments very spacious.
It's really close to all the bars/restaurants and the beach, without it being too noisy.
The only thing I would say, is they get a bit hot at the height of summer because there's no aircon, so if you don't have a nice draught running through the place, get a fan!
(Wouldn't know about ents and food, so I didn't rate those bits.)
