has anyone recently stayed at the hotel isla bonita,im staying there in november so any information would be appreciated.

Now then ... this is difficult because it's a reply to your first post

I hasten to add, that I have only had one experience of the hotel - so it may not be typical.

A large impressive foyer and great entertainment facilities. It's all inclusive so expect to wait and queue at the bar.

I used to work for a holiday club and sold to a lovely couple. They were staying at this hotel and I became friendly with them and met them for a drink there.

When I saw the perceived splendour of the place, the obvious question was to ask them why they had bought into (a very good) holiday club.

They took me to show me their room.

I walked through the door, took a look round the 'accommodation' and burst into tears. Nuff said

Yes, my cousin and his family are there at the moment. Location is lovely, facilities for swimming/bar areas etc are also really nice, rooms dissapointing, quite small and dark and if it's roadside too it can be a bit noisy. At the end of the day though it's only for a couple of weeks and they're not gonna let it spoil the first holiday they've had in 4 years.

Some friends of mine stayed a couple of years ago,they loved it,Kenny the husband of my friend gave the barman a nice tip at the beggining of the holiday he never waited ever to be served.
