Parque Santiago 4, Las Americas. Is it a quiet or lively part of Tenerife?

Heading out there on Friday and staying in the Parque Santiago 4. Just wondering if its out of the way or a place for older people/famalies, just when browsing the forum people keep mentioning where they will be staying and haven't seen anyone mention the santiago 4 yet!?! just a bit worried that we might be a bit far away?
nah you,ll be fine there ross!! "they" put all the rabble in P. 4. joking apart fella the complex is ideally situated , a mile walk or so from starco,veronicas and the lively end of the resort. plus all the other bars restuarants etc. that you could wish to go in along the way. you and your mates are sure to have a ball, happy holidays

Glad to hear it. Was just worried there would be no 'rabble' to mix with and thought we might have been right out of the way. Glad to know we can still get to the main scene with just a mile walk.
