Has anyone been to this hotel recently? I have fussy kids ,is there a good variety of food choice and what are the beer/wine prices in bars like in Tenerife ? thanx in advance
to the Forum from the The Noelia Sur looks like a nice hotel inside and outside, not heard what the food is like in there, possibly the same as any other 4 star hotel.

Hi Charlbabe,
I would strongly recommend Noela Sur Hotel, I have stayed there on numerous occasions. The pool area is qute extensive and great for kids as well as adults. The staff are very attentive and so polite, they genuinely care about their clients. The food is delicious and a great choice, if they dont have what you like ( this would be unusual) they will make for you on request. Have fun!
Fiona

sorry but i totally disagree with above post. i stayed there 4 weeks ago. i can only speak for breakfast as thats all we were booked in for. its not at all english so if thats what you want for your breakfast, you wont get it there. the sausage and bacon are not at all english and fairy disgusting in my opinion. we only stayed twice for breakfast because it was so bad. the pool area is good but too busy and no good for small kids. the childs pool is very basic and too small for the amount of kids that age there, we took a four year old and again, after enduring it there for 2 days, we decided on other pools/the beach where we are really enjoyed it as opposed to endured it. hotel itself was OK, looks A LOT better from the outside than when u get in to the rooms. def. shouldnt be a four star if you compare it with places like la siesta but you get what you pay for. air con was totally useless, even after 3 'repairs'. would never stay there again, its only good point for me is its location. never had a drink in the bar as i felt about 50-60 years too young, looking at the other customers. just my 2p worth.

There's no pleasing some people!! I have given an honest opinion of the Hotel and I have been there at different times of the year (including Christmas and New Year twice when it was full to capacity), every time I visited there was a marvelous breakfast, don't understand you!

Just curious here...We stayed at the Noelia a number of times.. I think in the early 2000's ..We were very impressed but on returning a few years ago felt that the restaurant had gone down hill..They also had this two sittings arrangement which didn't suit us at all..In fact we were asked to leave the restaurant so they could prepare for the second sitting..do they still do this??
The only thing good about this hotel is the location and that is it. The rooms are old and drab and the corridors are dirty and dated. The furniture in our room was all warped and the balcony furniture was plastic tac rubbish. This hotel is most certianly NOT a 4 star. The reception is nice but again furniture from the eighties. It is not modern at all. The pool area is ok for adults if you like being packed in. The pool area for children is what i consider as dangerous for busy toddlers up to the age of about 5. The pool for kids is in a bad position right at the back up steps and is tiny and not clean at all. The food is appauling. Even the coffee made me whince. If you want a 4 star then chose elsewhere.
I just came back from the noelia sur 2 weeks ago, yeh they still do the sittings but they have changed it till 19:00-19:45 and 20:15-21:00 or something similar all the reception area is just getting done out and the pool bar as just being refurbished.
