We have stayed here twice, 1st time was July 2005 when it was very busy and the area around the pool was like a war zone at times. The noise tends to echo probably due to the shape of the hotel.
Last year we were here the last week in May and 1st week in June and it was much quieter and we spent time at the pool.
However the location was great just a few minutes an we were in the hole in the wall or the corner bar. (both situated under the sun terrace of the hotel)
The hotel is basic and if you are going to book to go take a kettle as there will be a pan with no lid that takes forever to boil (no good when you are trying to recover from the night before)
We have never stayed in to watch the entertainment, which from the posters was a different act every night for the fortnight. Carla I think they called the regular entertainer she was a big hit with the kids. (ages 1 to 10 mainly)
We would stay here again.

Just returned from a fortnights holiday stayed at parque de la paz couldnt fault it. the location is spot on. cant comment on the entertainment only stayed to watch parrot show and bitter and twisted,both were fab. got really fed up with the touts on every street corner. if you wanted to get near the pool the best time to get a sun bed was around 4pm was packed out every day. wouldnt recomend changing travellers cheques with them you get a better rate elsewhere. I would definately stay here again and i would give it 4out of 5.
