Paloma Beach Apartments, Los Cristianos, Tenerife

My boyfriend and I have just got back a week ago from staying here for 2 weeks and we loved it. The apartment was really spacious and clean with great facilities. Our balcony was set back a bit so the sun was never shining onto it which meant it was nice and cool during the day. There was a TV with a number of channels and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook a meal although we never used it as we went out every night for a meal. The pool was really big, we never used it as we prefer the beach but it looked very clean. We went into the bar a few times, I would recommend the cocktails but we never ate here so not sure about the food. They have a pool table and internet access and the staff seemed very friendly and helpful. There are a number of places to eat right outside Paloma Beach and there is a supermarket 5 minutes away as well as a number of bars. The beach is 2 minutes away but although a few people use it, it was too rocky for us so we walked to Las Vistas beach which was about a 20 minute walk away but well worth the walk. There is a place outside the apartments where you can book excursions but I think you can also book these at Paloma Beach reception. You do have to pay for sunbeds but I would say it was never too busy, there was just a good atmosphere, mostly familes with children. The entertainment is on every night until midnight, a lot of karaoke and it was never quiet in the evenings but this didnt bother us as we would often sit on the balcony at night and listen to the music.
All in all we would definitley recommend Paloma Beach to anyone.

paloma beach apartments

hi helen, we stayed in paloma beach for 3 weeks in july (must have passed you) and we had a great time. our apartment was out of this world. we rented from tom and aideen. (ainsee on the forum) they have dish washer, full hob & oven, full fridge freezer, iron and ironing board!! (we're going to steal some of their tips for furnishing our own apartment). it was just home from home. obviously, staying 3 weeks we were not out every night and it was great to have dinner on the way back from the beach, go home and have a bottle of cava while running the vacuum over the place :-).

the pool and complex is lovely but we prefer going to the beach as every day at the beach is different. the surrey arms is ok for a quick meal or breakfast but restaurat caracol (at the roundabout) was lovely. the chef was once the chef to the king and queen of jordan and the menu is a bit limited but if you like fish or meat - there's something for you.

back to paloma beach, we would highy recommend tom and aideen's apartment to anyone (only when ours is fully booked :-) :-)
