The apartments are new, the complex only opened in 2004. the location is excellent but try to ensure that your apartment has a sea view. The alternative faces inland and overlooks other apartments.
The area is quiet but there are supermarkets and good restaurants nearby (La Marina is especially good).
To get to Los C or PDLA there is a regular bus service but if you are clubbing you will need a taxi home about €15.
Its golfers paradise but it is near to the airport and you will get some aircraft noise. However it is minimal at Aquamarina as you are off the flight path, also consider the total lack of vehicle traffic noise.
There are a couple of decent Irish bars with entertainment.
Also a walk to Los Abrigos harbour to the fish retaurant is nice
The area is being developed although the building work is not intrusive.

agua marina not so agua cleana
hi there!
stayed in private location there: the building work is intrusive and goes on weekdays from 7.00 am till 15.00 pm, rattling, cranes beeping, airpowerdrilling and allsorts. it's far more remote as far as the location is concerned , the proper supermarket (Mercado) is about 2 miles away so you will like a rental car ( available in the Aquamarina Golf Hotel for reasonably good prices), there is no sandy beaches around, the public transport sucks and the planes do come over all the time at about 500 yards distance. the area has a lot to offer: there's a public phone, an industrial area, a golfcourse in progress and some nice rocks to look at the sea from. for those who are willing to travel you will find more rocks, some benches, a building site and a couple of cheesy bars. the water quality in this area is particularly bad so think twice about having tea or coffee using tap water and ask the barstaff first if they use the sewersmelling stuff for their preps before you order. Otherwise forget about Aquamarina : try Torrevistas (above PdlA) first. better bars, better beaches, better sunset . unless it's cheaper in Aquamarina of course (but then that's going dutch hey).Case

Re: Aguamarina Golf Hotel, Golf Del Sur, Tenerife
We haven't actually stayed at the aparments but a friend showed us around the area. If you have a sea view apartment it will be brilliant. The apartments look very good and lots of restaurants around and the swimming pool looked very inviting
