Can anyone explain to me how the Singles group works?

Maybe I am just not with it, but How is example the singles club meant to work?
I have joined in it, but cant find that it means anything in practice, in any forum threats least.

So have I assumed wrong, when I thought that maybe singles would get together time to time, not as dating or like in such, rather just to make friends etc?
If thats the idea, why cant I find any info from it?

I am now new in Tenerife and it would be nice to find some friends of my own, and how ever nice it is meet couples in thursday meeting, it would be nice just to plan some shopping trip in santa cruz etc just with a new friend maybe a single lady as well ?
Plan to go to cinema with single man or woman etc...just really have more so called normal life things...pizza eves etc´. Couples do these things together or with other couples, what about us...

Is this what has been done via forum, or could it be planned or??

Just wondering...

Even a group where new livingin spain would have basic spanish is must group get togethers etc..my brother thought me to play a chess so i could gracelfully be beating in that too... or learn bingo in spain...haha ok...could go walkies, or zoo...

I would have thought most singles clubs would be where singles want to meet another single for dating. Maybe within them they have some organised events where a bunch of people can get together.

Why not organise your own 'singles night' through the forum and see what happens? Just do a post.

I tried pretty unsuccesfully to organise "singles nights"
The first one was great, lots of different people and good on numbers..
The last one I did was a bit of a flop, soo many women and NO men....
I just didnt have the time to organise another one as I have to work Saturdays now...
good luck to anyone trying to set it up again

Me Heffalumpy DJD and 9plus would of been there...

only looking for FIT women who can push a car on their own though

Personally, I would have thought a singles night isn't that much fun. There's always a hint of desperation. I'll hold my hands up if you think I'm wrong. I'd always have thought a mixture of people...young and older, single and partnered would work better. Also I think its nice to meet people through other people.

Nice to have some ideas, possibly something will come out of this all..
I really dont count myself as "desperate", so to me it would be a change to get to dostuff with other singles, example havent been yet in teide, or in eagles park etc...new "girl" in a block...and how ever accomodating couples are as they often are, there would maybe nice to be some events just for singles..

I do understand hard thing to arrange, and will not likely take off before next year...

Someone joked about darts night, why not!
or minigolf eve? vinetaste evening cakebake nights...suits both sexes I think...still maybe I am idolising the whole thing...what about learning tango? or how to maintain your car (dont ned to push then...
