many years ago when i was young n single i used to pack some 7" and 12" records in my suitcase and go to SOULTRAIN AND ALWAYS Got A GIG!
But marriage stopped all of that!! But Im young free and single again.. But IS SOULTRAIN STILL THERE??Cant see it in listings

Yeah it was on the corner near Pleasure Island, used to have loads of steps shaped in an arch down to it, i'm sure it was where rags and tramps is now but maybe i am wrong? I came here on holiday about 15 yrs ago and spent every night sat on the steps outside as did most people.
Definately not there now though.

Bad news mate.Soul Train has long gone! A shame as it was a top place,but like a lot of the places from that particular era in Tenerife it ran its course.

Unfortunately it is away. Turned into Jumping Jacks for a while I think in 99/00 or so, then was a supermarket , now I think its nothing. Such a shame, was my fave place.

I Know Theres Trends And Places Have There Time, But This Place Music Policy Was Soul And Funk Only, Is There A Soul-funk Bar /club In The South Now Anybody No?
I Was Last There I Would Say 9-10 Yrs Ago!
So Is There An Oppertunity For A Venue Playing Only Soul / Funk???

Gotta say it was the best...................... I remember about 14 years ago going there on my hols, and always used to buy the cassettes as pressies for my mates. Cassettes

And yes I would say there is an opportunity for a soul/funk venue.......... and I would definitely name it SOUL TRAIN...................
