Right bar, right side of the complex, wrong end of the street. The Apollo is a funny old place only bars that do well are the shires and castaways, the ones at the bus station end of the sunny side of the complex. But then again 1€ pints don't make any money do they?

Unfortunately, I missed the birthday party on Wednesday. I was going to go in and sing them a few songs, but I ended up busy on the Golf instead.
Anyway, believe it or not, if you have a high enough turnover, 1€ pints can make lots of money. I knew one bar in Las Americas who were doing 50c pints! Because they did so many barrels a week, Dorada was selling to them at 33c a pint, and Reina was trying to poach their custom by offering them beer at 30c a pint!!!!!
The party night at the Monk was brilliant, the acts were great, even though David and the team were let down by an early act.The place was rocking packed full with people of all ages.A class night out,Well Done David and your cracking team.
