Gran Reserva, Safari Centre, Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife

Hi, Just thought I'd make you aware of this restaurant in the Safari centre. It was recommended to us so we thought that we'd give it a go.

I ordered a sweet white wine while the missus ordered a white wine spritzer. 2 spritzers arrived in non-wine glasses with straws! We then both ordered a steak ( well done with side orders of veg), mine arrived and was well done while the mrs's steak had blood seeping from the centre. Eventually when the re-heated steak arrived, the veg were then cold (not that they were very hot to start off with).

All in all, the bill came to just over €80, handed in €100 and then had to wait 10 mins for the change as the waitress thought we were leaving a tip

Needless to say, we didn't leave a tip.

When this restaurant first opened we had a few very good meals . However went last went in October last year and will never return It was a very good friends 60th and a gang of us went,3 of us had very bad meals and the rest just mediocre. A real shame as it started off so good

gran reserva is just another member of the little italy chain! they have the same menu in every restaurant, always bring you bread even though you didn't order any! its basically an italian mcdonalds!

Isn´t it funny how so many of the restaurants here are just under another name. I wasn´t aware that it was one of the Little Italy chain. I´ve had few bad experiences in Little Italy´s too, but I won´t go on. I though Gran Reserva looked nice and was thinking about trying it, but I wont bother now. Thanks for the advice!

Actually, i think they make McD palatable! Yes, some of the poorest food/service. Avoid.
