Just back, spent most of our nights in the Theatre Bar. The transformation is amazing. totally different. Suzy q did a great show and Nick Page.. what an amazing voice..

Not sure jesse, but will find out for you. I know they have a "legends" night with jed bolton and charlie hodge, a seventies night with tony loveshaft and lou rex (think thats sunday), saturday is tanya and nick, and wednesday is me and Tanya. just got home from there, it was packed, standing room only!!

Thanks Suzy, we drove past there after my gig on friday and it looked very busy at about 1am, my wife and i are looking for somewhere different to go on my night off and this sounds like a decent place to try so we will probably pop down on tuesday night, thanks again all the best, Jesse.

Sounds like the type of place we would enjoy when we come over. We're counting down the days to our annual February visit - and we've finally managed to get a second week so we're over the moon. Might even find time to relax this time.......

Well folks as ive said earlier tuesday is my night off and me and my wife were looking for somewhere different to go, we went along to the theatre bar tonight and what an excellent bar it is, the staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome, tonight there were two live acts on stage, first on stage was the tribute to freddy star got to be honest we only caught the last few minutes of his show cos i was watching the football, but what we saw was good, then came trevor martin doing a tribute to tom jones, ozzy osbourne and elton john very funny show and got the audience going well, then someone mentioned i was a singer so i was asked to perform a few songs which i can never refuse LOL, the audience seemed to like me and the young woman from behind the bar asked for my business card just in case they can find a slot for me, got to say i didnt go looking for work as its my only night off but if something comes of it and i can fit it in then why not. i will definately go to the bar again one of the best ive seen around for awhile. plus the compere darren does an excellent job.
